SwimRite out of Nevis took five swimmers to Antigua for the Antigua & Barbuda Swimming Federation 10th Annual Invitational Swimming Championships 2025, held at the Vipers Pool in Antigua. The event featured 7 teams and nearly 100 swimmers competing for medals across various age groups.
This was another important opportunity for swimmers to achieve qualifying times set by the St. Kitts & Nevis Aquatics Federation (SKNAF) and a key step in preparation for the upcoming OECS Swimming Championships in November.
Meet Highlights
Jennifer Harding-Marlin (18 & Over)
Placed 2nd in the 100m Backstroke with an OECS qualifying time, 2nd in the 50m Backstroke, and 3rd in the 50m Butterfly, earning 3rd overall in her age group. Jennifer, who already held OECS qualifying times, once again demonstrated her consistency and form.
Clijae Christmas (9–10)
Showed remarkable consistency, finishing 3rd in nearly all his events — including the 200m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke, and 100m IM.
Troy Nisbett (15–17)
Captured silver in the 50m Breaststroke with an impressive 33.61 seconds, and 3rd in the 100m Freestyle, earning 3rd place champion overall in his age group.
Cleve Pemberton (15–17)
Achieved personal bests and did an excellent showing at his first regional meet.
Nazanu Chiverton (13–14)
Delivered personal best performances in multiple events, showing steady improvement and determination throughout the competition.
