The National swim team has come back from the OECS Swimming Championship in St. Vincent, where every swimmer delivered outstanding performances. In almost all events, the athletes recorded personal best times. A highlight of the competition was Skyla Connor, who secured a silver medal in the fifty-meter breaststroke race.
Her dedication and hard work paid off, inspiring her teammates and making her country proud.
The team’s camaraderie and sportsmanship were evident throughout the competition, with each member supporting and cheering for one another. Their collective efforts resulted in St. Kitts & Nevis achieving their highest team ranking at the OECS Championship.
Aside from the medal and accolades, the experience gained was invaluable. The swimmers returned home with not only stories of triumph but also lessons learned and memories made that will fuel their future training and competitions.
