St. Kitts & Nevis National Swim Team Shines in Cross Channel Swim

These kids are absolute legends!

This year, a record-breaking 478 swimmers took on the iconic Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim, a thrilling 2.5-mile (4.1 km) challenge that pushed athletes to their limits. Among them where eleven young athletes from the St. Kitts & Nevis National Swim Team, and they absolutely nailed it! Not only did they complete the race, but many secured podium finishes, showing the strength and talent coming out of St. Kitts & Nevis. 🏅

A Standout Performance: Skyla Connor

Fastest among them? Skyla Connor (U14), who stunned everyone with a blazing finish time of 1 hour, 22 minutes, and 42 second! To put that into perspective, the overall winner of the event crossed the finish line in 58 minutes, 55 seconds. Skyla’s incredible time speaks to the hard work, discipline, and grit she’s been putting into her training.
